Just A Saturday

Hmm... let me blog about yesterday. I practically went out the whole day yesterday. In the morning, i went to hsc to hear the band as they were having some charity walk and carnival thing. I went at around 10 plus and heard them play. I am sad to say that i was quite disappointed. They didn't play very well. Some pieces were not too bad but some were really bad. When they were having their break, some of the seniors started playing some of the pieces for fun. Oh yah... today is mrs chua's birthday and it has been exactly 2 years since the syf i played in. Memorable date. A number of band members from mjc who were taught by mrs chua bought a gift for her. Kai Ling and i passed it to mr chua but he forgot to bring it back... haha. Luckily li hong saw it. Oh ya... i finally got one of the viva musica iv posters. So happy! haha.

After that, we went to have lunch and then li hong and i went to man ning's house and played game of life. After which, i went home to rest before going to the airport to celebrate mrs chua's birthday and send them off as they were going to holland. I met up with man ning and jonathan before going... haha. Man ning is very funny... she always says that she will get lost in the airport so if we are going to the airport, i will make sure i meet her. Fortunately, i am still familiar with airport as my sense of direction can be really bad.

When i reached the airport, most of the other band members were there already. Majority of those who went were sec 4s and a few of the graduated seniors. Andy bluffed me and man ning... haha... he said that he wasn't going but he appeared. Hmm.. one of my classmates was also going to holland. I think he is really going to miss out a lot of lessons. After sending them off, we were to T2 to eat before going home. Listening to what a few of the sec 4s had to say about the band, i am really worried about them. It seems that the band is not in good conditions. I want to go down and help but my lessons always end late on band days... so sad. Mrs chua said that their choice piece for the genting competition is difficult. Hmm... maybe i will drop by tml to see how is the song like. Hopefully i can make it in time. And if i am not wrong, they are also playing singapore rhapsody II. Can't wait for the competition to come... haha... i will be seeing the band there. =)
