Japanese Dramas

I am feeling bored now so I have decided to talk about some japanese dramas that i have watched and really like.

1 litre of tears
This is one drama that I will never ever forget. It really made me cry like there was no end to my tears. Basically, this drama was about a girl who suffered from spinocerebellar degeneration. Her sufferings and problems she faced in her life really made me feel sad. In particular, episode 6 and 8 were the ones I couldn't stop crying. This drama was based on a true story but there was a fictional character in it. The fictional character was the male lead Asou Haruto. I really wish that there was really such a person in her life. I must say that Sawajiri Erika's acting was good in this one and of course, me being a fan of Nishikido Ryo will say that his acting is good. I really like the scenes when they are together and his character was really a support for the main character in the show. Those who hasn't watched this show should go and watch it. Just go and prepare a lot of tissue papers.
Soundtrack: I like the theme songs for this show. Only Human by K is really nice and so are the other songs.

Hana Yori Dango
I guess this is one of the very well known shows. If you do not know it, it is basically the japanese version of meteor garden. I may be biased but I must say that this drama is really much better than the taiwanese version. Well, everyone can have their own opinion. I think the cast has great chemistry and the storyline is fast paced. Of course, my favourite character is Hanazawa Rui acted by Oguri Shun. I always seem to be on the side of the guy who doesn't get the girl. Maybe not always but most of the time unless the guy is a villain. I can't wait for Hana Yori Dango Final to be out. I do hope that they will show it in Singapore.
Soundtrack: I like the theme songs of both shows. The first season's theme song was by Otsuka Ai and the second season's was by Utada Hikaru. Flavour of Life is really a great song.

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e
Like Hana Yori Dango, there was a taiwanese version of this show. The first few episodes of this show wasn't exactly great but the show slowly picked up. Once again, I watched this show because Oguri Shun was acting in it. I must say that Ikuta Toma did a good job in this show. The show gets really crazy. I love the Dorm Heads because they are simply funny and entertaining. You should watch this show if you really want a good laugh.
Soundtrack: I must say that initially, i did not like the theme songs but i grew to love them. The soundtrack is great and nicely used in the show.

Proposal Daisakusen
I think I am going to talk a lot about this show because it is one of the shows that was not adapted from a manga that i really really like. First of all, I started watching this show not because of the cast but because of the synopsis. This is rare because I normally watch shows because of the actors. Basically, the story is about this guy called Iwase Ken who was given the chance to go back to the past to prevent the girl he loves from getting married to another guy. The guy was really irritating when he was younger because you can really see that he does nothing to let the girl know he likes her. I guess it is normal for any girl to leave him. But when he was given the chance to change the past, he gradually made improvements but they were not enough to get the girl back. In the end, he decided that he should try to do what he can in the present time. With the Special Episode, I would rate this drama 5/5 because i just love it.
Soundtrack: I couldn't find the single for the theme song here so I was really happy when I bought it. The soundtrack was really good overall.
